Ada: Featured!
Head on over to Showers & Flowers and check out cute Trina's feature on my photographs from this shoot. The blog showcases ideas for event planning and decor, and naturally, Trina loved the details in Ada's nursery (as do I!).
Oh, and if you're looking for a way to spruce up your blog (or your hair), check out Ada's mom's design blog.

Bobby | Utah Portrait Photographer
This guy is nineteen today. I can hardly stand it! Happy birthday, baby brother. Here, he's showing off his freshly smashed (by train) nickel.

Rick & Kathryn | Utah Wedding Photographer
One month ago today, this Noel-Rowbury clan united! They were so content, they hardly noticed the sweltering 100-degree weather at noon that day. Good luck, you two.

Can't fight this feeling . . .
(Anyone else adore Glee?) It's Friday, at the end of a long week, coming off a couple weeks of great shoots. There are somewhere in the arena of 10(!) posts just waiting to be blogged, but not this weekend!
Looking forward to editing, shooting, and the BYU game this weekend (though I still hate the idea of sitting in the stands). What are your weekend plans?

Laura + Blake: Engagements
This beautiful(!) couple let me drag them all over the Salt Lake Valley for their engagement session. We encountered some pretty interesting characters on our journey, as you can see, but they totally went with it. They are such a fun couple--look out for some awesome formals later this month and the wedding this winter!

Good Fruit
...is what you all are. I can't believe the overwhelming support! Attending Jonathan Canlas' workshop is a dream come true for me, and I honestly couldn't have done it without all of you. The finalists' photos were incredible, and I honestly was completely intimidated by them, and so tickled that Jonathan chose mine to be among the others.
But the real thanks go to you, the voters, for making it happen! Thank you!

Film Your Heart Out Scholarship Project: FINALIST!
One of my images made it to the finals in Jonathan Canlas's workshop scholarship project. I have been dying to attend his workshop ever since I first heard of it, and knew I wouldn't be able to afford it for years. However, this year, he offered a scholarship for someone who could go out and shoot, on film, a quintessential Utah story.
Because Utah, to me, is all about the people, this image represents the hard-working people that make up the great Beehive State. Here's the quote: “Good fruit: hard-working people with good values, producing the best of the best. That’s Utah."
This image was selected as one of the five final images, and the result depends on you! Whichever image gets the most votes wins, so please take 10 seconds and go to this link: http://yourheartout.com/?p=6507 and vote for my image!
Thank you so much!

Groundhog Day.
Being back in school makes all the days sorta run together, like I'm living the same day over and over again. I get a similar feeling when I see signs like this one.
Do you think this Utah construction will ever end?

Hiromi & Bradyn | Engagements
I'm so excited to photograph Hiromi & Bradyn's wedding later this month! We had fun at this engagement session--how fun are their yukata and jinbei? I love when couples want to integrate part of their personalities and lives into the shoot.
