Cole | Everyday Heroes Project

Sweet little Cole has severe myoclonic astatic epilepsy. "He is a warrior. At two years old, he can not go outside, play in groups, go to church or a bunch of other things or it will cause seizures. He is happy and very flirtatious and you would never know that he has real medical issues upon first glance."

Baby Harris | Birth Preview

I photographed my first full birth story last week, and it truly was a sight to behold. I have never experienced anything like it. Here's one image to hold you over until I get the rest of the film back.

For me, literal proof of a Higher Power.

Dave was nominated as an everyday hero because "he and his wife are probably the best examples of cheerfully enduring trials. Their daughter has cystic fibrosis and it takes a lot of work for both of them to take care of her and to provide her the best quality of life. They do it so well. They're an inspiration to me for being such good parents to their beautiful baby girl."
