The Everyday Heroes Project: Wrapup

This project has been incredible. Thank you for your nominations, donations, and support! The one-year anniversary of Prof. Goldsmith's passing was this month, and it means so much to me to be able to commemorate his memory with photos of these Everyday Heroes. Meeting and photographing all those nominated for my little project has been inspiring to me both as a photographer and as a person. You have touched many lives. Arigatou, ne.

Remembering 9/11

I created this photo collage as part of a project in a photography class ages ago. I shot the photographs of Ground Zero and West Point just one year after 9/11, in the fall of 2002. All on my 1970 Nikkormat EL on Ilford.

It was a large print with multiple exposures. Oh, how I miss my darkroom days.
