We've Moved!

I have dozens of posts in my head, but no time to post them just yet. Per this post title, we moved the past weekend from our home of the last 6+ years to our temporary residence as we await completion of our new home.

Until I get a chance to write a full post, mark your calendars for my first full workshop!

Intro to Digital Photography next month: classes July 15, 22, 29, and a lighting demo Aug 1. Email me for more details! Class size will be very limited (more than half have already reserved their spots)!

*UPDATE* Class dates have changed to July 16, 23, 30, and Aug 1.

Mommy & Me: The Goods (Utah Maternity Photographer)

My workshop two weekends ago was a blast. We had a great turnout, great weather, and great company! Such beautiful people and their beautiful babies (or bumps, as the case may be).

Preview: Ada (Provo Baby Photographer)

You'll want to check back soon for the details from this session. Ada's nursery is to-die-for adorable. So many little details for this tiny babe, who was, by the way, perfect during our session. Slept, cooed, and smiled as if on command. They got a good one.

Why Photoshop is my friend.

Although posed, grinning photos are not my favorite (I'm more of a candid girl), most families want at least one image for their wall where everyone is smiling at the camera. I love this family so much, but little K wanted nothing to do with me--especially at our fun locations. Enter photoshop. It took three images to create this baby:

Baby's eyes from here:

Dad's smile from here:

Don't mind my mediocre composition here. Jumping around making funny noises to get a 2-year-old's (and apparently the parents') attention can do that to my images sometimes.

We miss this family terribly! Expect many more images from this fun session soon.

Reminder: Mommy & Me (Child Photography Workshop)

Tomorrow morning friend Kaela and I will be teaching this workshop.

Hope to see you there! P.S. I'm assisting awesome Melissa at a wedding today, wahoo!

Smith Family Portraits (Provo Family Photographer)

I love photographing beautiful people. And funny people. And I like it even better when they are both beautiful and funny. It makes my job ever enjoyable.

Need family photos? New baby? Let's get together.

Utah Genius 2009: the details (Salt Lake City Event Photographer)

The details at this event were beautiful, as most things at the Grand America are. Everything, as they say, is in the details.

Do you have a wedding or special event coming up? Call me.
